Light difference between documentary and fiction

Today I rode one of my friend post about a “documentary” of Michael Moore “the corporation”. I never saw this movie and I am not attending to discuss about the subject of this movie. I just want to point out the fact that too many people are taking this kind of fiction for documentary. Michael Moore is a filmmaker not a documentaries, the difference is when the subject of the movie is affected by the view of the director.
To take another similar situation, I read every day news paper on internet and right before the office at the kiosk. I never take news from one source of information to make sure that the final idea of the story will not be affected by the publication. Every story has at least two sides, it’s up to the reader to know them and make his own opinion.
